Following a meeting of Gridiron Victoria owners on the Gold Coast this week, history has been made for one of the clubs.
For the first time in GV history, one of the franchises will move to a new location.

Update from the 2017 rules committee

Following some confusion on social media and amongst club reps, Gridiron Victoria wanted to clarify two new rule changes for 2017.
Despite rumours of adopting the 3-down rule from the Canadian Football League (CFL), we can confirm that is 100% not happening.
2017 Annual General Meeting & Executive Election
The 2017 Annual General Meeting of Gridiron Victoria was held on Monday 16th January and election for the new executive took place.
Congratulations to the new exec:
- President: Mark Levin
- Vice President: Garry Wilson
- Treasurer: Grant Garraway
- Secretary: Haley Fleming
- Registrar: Ashlee Trimble
Our thanks to outgoing President Sam Weller and secretary Rob Hunter.
The new executive is committed to continuing to advance Gridiron in Victoria and will release their budget and plans to the league very soon.

You must be 15 – 19 years of age to play juniors and at least 16 for women’s.
Make the switch to American Football now and you too could find yourself in the NFL one day. Pre-season training for junior & women’s competition starts NOW!
2017 Under 19’s & Women’s Season starts in FEBRUARY!
The Colts (15 – 19) and Women’s (16+) season will kick off mid February and run through to May.
We intend to run early morning and night games and will have a comprehensive heat policy to deal with the summer months.

Gridiron Victoria is recruiting men and women for senior and junior competitions as well as coaches, officials and support staff.
